About me
Hi! My name is Chris Seluk, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida (license MH 19288) as well as a telehealth provider in the states of South Carolina (registration number TLC1494PC https://llr.sc.gov/TeleHealth/Counselor.html) and Vermont (license number 068.0136099TELE)
I began my studies in 2015 at Hodges University and completed my coursework in 2018, graduating with my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I obtained my license in May of 2021, and continue to further my education in different counseling techniques such as DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Forensic Evaluation, and substance abuse/addiction treatment to name a few.
I have provided services to domestic violence survivors, sexual assault survivors, youths in deferred sentencing environments, men in prison, incarcerated individuals in county jail, and individuals in homeless shelters.
In working with these individuals, I have assisted people with a multitude of diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder. I have also assisted individuals with situational problems such as anger issues, relationship difficulties, job transitions, and incarceration.
